Happy Three Month!

It's been three months since Peter was born, and he seems to be changing daily. He is getting so big and is accomplishing so much.

He smiles and laughs freely now. He doesn't seems to be ticklish, but every once in a while tickling will get big laughs out of him. He loves to talk, and has long conversations. He will tell Geoff all about his day when he gets home at night, and I love seeing the two of them interacting like that.

He loves his play gym and spends much more time talking to the octopus. He has also figured out that if he kicks the gym, everything will shake, and once in a while will grab on to the octopus's ring and shake him from there. He has started to swat at the whale on his bouncer, which is the only moving part that is within his reach.

If you put on music, he moves like he is trying to dance. He also loves to hear Disney songs, they get big smiles, and he will sing along with "Teddy Bear's Picnic".

He is much calmer when he is having his diaper changed, even though he still hates it when he pees. He will try to talk to you while you change him, and he holds on to his diaper and your hand.

He is sleeping through the night two to three times a week. Even on the nights that he doesn't sleep through, he really only gets up once. He does nap during the day, and unfortunately, it is usually in my arms. That is a habit that I would like to break. He will also nap in the stroller, but he fights it since he loves being outside so much.

He is trying so hard to roll over. He gets about half way there, and then can't get any further. You can tell that it frustrates him, but it doesn't seem like it will be too much longer before he can do it. He also is very good at holding his head up on his own. It seems his favorite position is over my shoulder, looking around. That is not so much fun for my back.

Finally, here are some pictures of our big boy. These are all in the July album, which I will keep updating throughout the month.
