4 Week Picture and Poll

New baby, new polls.

How far along? 4 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: No change yet (as of this morning, this evening I'm definitely feeling bloated)
Maternity clothes? Not yet, but I'm curious to see how long I will last this time
Stretch Marks? Nothing new
Sleep: I am exhausted, but I can sleep (at night)
Best moment this week: It was positive!
Movement: Nothing yet
Food cravings: Not much really, maybe cucumbers (which is something that I ate a lot of early last time)
Gender: Don't know, and I'm not sure that we are going to find out this time
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out? In
What I miss: Being not sleepy
What I am looking forward to: My first appointment (in six weeks...)
Weekly Wisdom: I don't feel at all wise, and I'm thinking of dropping this item from the poll
Milestones: Positive tests

At 4 weeks, your baby, now known as a blastocyst, is practically microscopic -- a teeny ball of cells. She's busy settling into her new home (your uterus), prepping for all the crucial development she'll be doing over the next six weeks.

How your baby's growing:
This week marks the beginning of the embryonic period. From now until 10 weeks, all of your baby's organs will begin to develop and some will even begin to function. As a result, this is the time when she'll be most vulnerable to anything that might interfere with her development.
Right now your baby is an embryo the size of a poppy seed, consisting of two layers: the epiblast and the hypoblast, from which all of her organs and body parts will develop.
