After twenty four hours in the hospital, on Thursday, April 8th Peter Joseph was delivered at 9:29 pm by c-section. He was a healthy 8 pounds 5 ounces and 20 1/2 inches long. We have been home since Sunday, and the three of us have been working on getting into a rhythm since then. Peter seems to have his days and nights reversed and is definitely keeping Mommy on her toes while she tries to heal.
I cannot stop staring at him, and cannot believe how lucky Geoff and I are to have him. I barely remember what it was like before he was here.
