He is trying so hard to have conversations with people, and it is getting a lot easier to understand what he wants. He can now name quite a few farm animals, as well as tell you what they say. His favorite book at the moment is Polar Bear, Polar Bear What Do You Hear? and he can name most of the animals in the book. During the puppet show at school, he walked up to the teacher to point out the "zebrah" to her. His two favorite words are "no" and "mine", which does not bode well for the next few years.
He is getting out around other children a lot recently, between playgroup, school and seeing family over the holidays. He absolutely loves talking to other children, and is becoming much more social once he warms up. He loves seeing his cousin Connor, and the two of them get along very well. He also got to spend some time with his cousins from Chicago over the break, and had a blast with them.

At twenty-one months, most children:
Can walk up stairs - He's been doing this for months now, there is a picture of him surprising his Uncle Christopher by doing this over the summer.
Able to set simple goals (ie. deciding to put toys in a certain place) - Check :)
At twenty-one months, half the children:
Throw a ball overhand - He's been doing this for months now, probably since the spring.
Kick a ball forward - He's done this as well, and hopefully soon I'll upload the video of him doing it.
Stack six blocks - Not sure that he's gotten to six, he always seems much more interested in knocking them down than stacking them up.
At twenty-one months, a few children:
Name simple pictures in a book - He can do this especially if they are of vehicles.
Walk down stairs - Again, he's been doing this for months, not long after he started walking up stairs.
