22 Week Picture and Poll

Trying to get back to our regular schedule, and I think that Peter is almost caught up from the vacations, although I very nearly forgot to take the picture tonight (which is why it's so late). Last time we had already found out that Peter was going to be a boy, but I still don't want to know this time around. Geoff completely disagrees with me, but he can not come up with anything that he would do differently if he knew ahead of time.

How far along? 22 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Up to 21 pound, so I seem to be in the about 1 pound a week phase
Maternity clothes? Yes, and as the weather changes, I'll probably need some more long sleeve shirts.
Stretch Marks? Nothing new
Sleep: Seems like we are finally catching up on sleep from the vacations.
Best moment this week: It was nice having some alone time with Geoff while we were away, before the babysitter called us back.
Movement: Yes, although Geoff hasn't felt it since that first time.
Food cravings: Sweets, and root beer seems to be just perfect at the moment
Gender: Poll is finally up, don't forget to vote on the right (if you are reading this by email or reader, you need to click through to the blog). Tomorrow is the big ultrasound, I am still planning on being strong although Geoff is hoping that I'll change my mind last minute.
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out? Basically flat, but sometimes starts to pop after I eat.
What I miss: Eggs Benedict.
What I am looking forward to: Seeing the baby tomorrow!
Milestones: Baby's first trip abroad (can you tell I'm stretching here?).

21 Week Poll

No picture this week, with everything going on it's just too much. I definitely feel like I look so much bigger than last time. I didn't get any great belly pictures while away in Mystic (although I'm still going through all the pictures, since I took so many). I might try to get one later in the week, but I'm not holding out much hope.

How far along? 21 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Not sure, didn't have access to a scale this morning so I'm just skipping this week
Maternity clothes? Oh yes
Stretch Marks? Nothing new
Sleep: Pretty exhausted, but our schedules have been all screwed up with vacation
Best moment this week: Not sure I can just pick just one, vacation was pretty amazing, and it's been great spending time with Jay (as well as movement below)
Movement: Yes! On Thursday night, while we were watching TV, Geoff even got to feel the baby kick.
Food cravings: Root beer
Gender: Poll is finally up, don't forget to vote on the right
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out? Basically flat.
What I miss: My ankles
What I am looking forward to: Sun and sand
Milestones: Return of the cankles. I'm hoping that it is just because I haven't been eating all that well on vacation. I guess we'll see how the next few days go.

Pick a Team!

Well, I've finally gotten the poll up, even though I really meant to do it a few weeks ago. So now it's time to cast your vote.

According to this Chinese Gender Predictor, it's a girl.
According to this Chinese Gender Chart, it's a boy.
The heart rate has consistently been measured in the 140s.

So cast your vote on the right! If you are really confident, leave a comment below.

Happy Thirty Months!

Oops, I just realized that I completely forgot to post this update, I was so wrapped up in the excitement of the week. He is doing the potty training on and off, although I'm not going to push it until after we are finished with vacations. He also seems very interested in moving to a big boy bed, but again I am in no rush.

From BabyCenter.com

At twenty-nine and thirty months, most children can:
Brush teeth with help - He does this and doesn't really have any more issues with the toothpaste
Washes and dries own hands - Check, even if he does make me sing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" each and every time.
Draws a vertical line - Still isn't really pretty

At twenty-nine and thirty months, half the children can:
Draw a circle - Again, he does this but it isn't pretty
Balance on one foot - Check

At twenty-nine and thirty months, a few children can:
Put on a t-shirt - Still has a hard time pulling his own head through, but he is definitely almost there
Names one color - More than one
Names one friend - He keeps adding friends to the list

There are a few pictures in our October album on Picasa, and I will try to add more as the month goes on (although most pictures so far do seem to be in other albums).

20 Week Picture and Poll

Half way through! Bonus picture week! It was a long day today with Peter and I joining Jay, David and my dad for some site-seeing in the city, so I'm very ready for bed at this point. Seems like I was pretty tired last time as well, since my picture didn't come until the next day.

How far along? 20 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 19 pounds
Maternity clothes? Yes, but this weather is not making things easy for me, since it seems I have nothing appropriate.
Stretch Marks? Still nothing new
Sleep: I'm pretty tired, but this has been a bad week for naps.
Best moment this week: Baby Reilly!
Movement: Yes, especially if I lean forward or if I'm driving. (And I'm not sure how this disappeared last week, but I've added it back in.)
Food cravings: Mozzarella sticks.
Gender: Still don't know, still don't want to find out.
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out? Sill in but pretty flat.
What I miss: Having the energy to be out late(r), especially since Jay is visiting.
What I am looking forward to: Family vacation! Complete with brother from England.

How far along? 19 Weeks
