39 Week Picture and Poll

One week (or less) to go. I hope that I don't make it to my due date, but I don't feel like I'm going to go early. Last time, it was our last weekly poll since I didn't make it to my due date (my water broke without me having contractions, which I really hope doesn't happen this time). Either way, the next post could be an announcement, which would be pretty exciting. For a surprise bonus picture, scroll to the bottom.

How far along? 39 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Still holding steady at 37 pounds.
Maternity clothes? Oh yes.
Stretch Marks? Still just the same, although I do get pretty itchy in this weather.
Sleep: A little less stuffy, but having a very hard time getting comfortable so I'm still pretty tired.
Best moment this week: Our mini-date night for my birthday.
Movement: Yes, and while it's uncomfortable it is comforting.
Food cravings: Nothing really special, maybe citrus, but not too much.
Gender: Team pink won the poll.
Labor Signs: No more contractions, but the baby is definitely moving down and I'm having lots of pressure.
Belly Button in or out? Out, although it's stretched pretty flat.
What I miss: Being able to bend over and pick something up or tie my shoes.
What I am looking forward to: Finally having everything washed, organized and ready to go (hopefully it will be done before the weekend, there isn't much left to do). There are still some things that we need off of the registry, but for the most part it can wait until after the baby is born.
Milestones: Just one week until my due date, but hopefully I'll go sooner than that.

38 Week Picture and Poll

Two weeks (or less). I cannot believe how fast time time it is going. Then again it also feels like I've been pregnant forever. Last time, we were still settling into the apartment while this time it feels like I still have so much to do to get the apartment ready. I guess some things never change.

How far along? 38 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Holding steady at 37 pounds, and this is after I ate my weight in crepes last night.
Maternity clothes? Oh yes.
Stretch Marks? Haven't noticed anything new since last week.
Sleep: I'm pretty tired, but having a hard time falling asleep because I'm stuffy and can't breath through my nose.
Best moment this week: Hearing the baby, followed closely by finding out that I probably wouldn't go into labor in the middle of the blizzard (obviously I didn't).
Movement: Yes.
Food cravings: Chocolate covered pretzels. Shame there isn't an upcoming holiday where it would be perfect to get some.
Gender: Team pink won the poll.
Labor Signs: A couple of contractions here and there, but not nearly enough to be doing much. Baby definitely feels like he or she is dropping
Belly Button in or out? Out.
What I miss: Breathing through my nose, I'm a little stuffy but my sinuses are pretty swollen so I'm pretty stuffed up.
What I am looking forward to: Celebrating my birthday this weekend (a little early since my birthday is pretty close to my due date).
Milestones: Nothing interesting.

37 Week Picture and Poll

Three weeks (or less) and counting, and I'm now considered full term. I really can go at any time, so I guess I should really finish packing. Another long day, although they all seem to be long now. Last time, the picture was a day late, although I did have a bonus picture from the baby shower.

How far along? 37 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Up to 37 pounds, maybe I've been craving sweet a little too much this week.
Maternity clothes? Oh yes.
Stretch Marks? I caught sight of a few on the bottom of my belly in a mirror. Not sure how long they've been there. Only good thing is that I did get those last time and they went away.
Sleep: Really wishing that I was getting more, it is so hard to get comfortable.
Best moment this week: Peter getting and sleeping in his big boy bed.
Movement: Yes.
Food cravings: Still sweet.
Gender: Team pink won the poll.
Labor Signs: Just Braxton Hicks.
Belly Button in or out? Out.
What I miss: My energy. By 4, I'm exhausted and ready for a nap (although Peter rarely naps anymore).

36 Week Picture and Poll

Bonus picture week, and very possibly the last one (unless I get all the way to 40 weeks). I'm definitely as tired as I look. This is a big weekend coming up, as we are finally getting stuff ready for the baby and the hospital as well as getting Peter his big boy bed. Last time, I was getting ready to see the baby, and for my baby shower.

How far along? 36 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Back to 33 pounds.
Maternity clothes? Yes, and started to get a few nursing shirts for when the baby is born.
Stretch Marks? It seems to be just the one, but I am still itchy.
Sleep: I'm very tired, but having a hard time falling asleep.
Best moment this week: Seeing the baby again.

35 Week Picture and Poll

Only five weeks to go! This was a rough week, with the temperature dropping drastically and Geoff and Peter both getting sick. Last time, things were pretty uneventful.

How far along? 35 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Up to 34 pounds.
Maternity clothes? Yes
Stretch Marks? Still itchy, and I may have one more near my belly button.
Sleep: Very uncomfortable, I had to prop myself up last night because of stuffiness, I don't remember having to do that this early last time.
Best moment this week: Slow week with everyone (else) being sick, so I'm going to say hearing the baby's heartbeat with Peter.
Movement: Oh yes.
Food cravings: Sweet, and I've had a lot of clementines this week.
Gender: Team pink won the poll.
Labor Signs: Just Braxton Hicks.
Belly Button in or out? It's popped.

34 Week Picture and Poll

Finally not feeling sick anymore (took long enough), but I'm still absolutely exhausted. I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going, there seems like we still have so much to do to get ready. 33 Week Picture and Poll

Still not feeling well, and I think that the picture shows it, although I am a bit better now than a week ago. When I was at my appointment on Friday, my doctor was not happy that I've been sick for so long, so she put me on antibiotics. They seemed to have helped a little, even if they haven't cleared it up completely. Last time I was suffering from some of the same sleeping issues as I am now, specifically the hip problem.

How far along? 33 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Back up a little to 30 1/2 pounds.
Maternity clothes? Yes
Stretch Marks? Still just the one, I've been much better about using the stretch mark system.
Sleep: Still a bit on the stuffy side, so while I would love to sleep more, I am having a hard time falling asleep. Also, I'm starting to get pains in my hip when I sleep on my side. Overall, it just isn't working out too well for me.
Best moment this week: Watching Peter's face as he listened to the baby's heartbeat for the first time (Geoff still hasn't heard it, and at this point I doubt that he will)
Movement: Still lots, and it's still uncomfortable.
Food cravings: Still the clementines, if anything.
Gender: Team pink won the poll.
Labor Signs: Other than braxton hicks starting, no.
Belly Button in or out? It's popped.
What I miss: Peter being able to comfortably sit in my lap.
What I am looking forward to: Anniversary date night this weekend.
Milestones: Peter hearing the heartbeat for the first time,  my first (and hopefully last) round of antibiotics and the start of braxton hicks. This has been a busy week.

32 Week Picture and Poll

Bonus picture week. I'm still feeling pretty awful, but so much better than last week, so I did actually take them this time. Not that they are the best pictures ever. In fact, they are pretty terrible, but Geoff couldn't help since he's also feeling sick this week. Last time around, we were at the tail end of moving, and I was in full on nesting mode. I would be nesting right now, but this stupid cold has knocked out all my energy that I just don't want to get anything done.

How far along? 32 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Down a little to 28.5 pounds. I'm thinking being sick all week had something to do with that.
Maternity clothes? Yes
Stretch Marks? Just the one that Geoff pointed out, although I am getting itchier, which I don't think is a good thing.
Sleep: Still not sleeping as well as I would like since my cough is still pretty bad, but I am sleeping a thousand times better than last week.
Best moment this week: Another long weekend with Geoff being home, it was really nice having him home so much.
Movement: Still lots.
Food cravings: If anything, citrus. I've had a lot of clementines this week.
Gender: The poll is closed, and team pink won 3 to 1. Two months until we find out for sure.
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out? It's popped
What I miss: Not coughing all the time
What I am looking forward to: Baby Brady's Christening this weekend
Milestones: Really started to suffer from heartburn this week, I don't remember that happening as much last time.

31 Week Poll

No picture this week, since I came down with a fever on Monday and have just felt crummy ever since. I might try to get a late one tomorrow, but I'm not sure that I'll feel up to it. I didn't want to hold this update back any longer, so I'm just going to post without the picture. Last time nothing special was going on.

How far along? 31 Weeks 2 days
Total weight gain/loss: Holding steady at 30 pounds (as of Wednesday, didn't weigh myself today)
Maternity clothes? Yes
Stretch Marks? Geoff pointed out something that could be the begining of a stretch mark right above my belly button, wasn't that nice of him?
Sleep: All I want to do is sleep, but I cannot breathe very well between the stuffy nose and the massive cough. Being sick is no fun at all.
Best moment this week: Christmas morning with Geoff and Peter
Movement: Still lots, which makes me feel better with the fever. Although I do wish that Geoff would stop telling people to stare at my stomach to see an arm or a leg, it makes me a little self conscious.
Food cravings: My mom's meatballs, and a I had quite a few at Boxing Day (the main reason I was willing to brave the snow when I wasn't feeling well).
Gender: Poll will only be up until the end of the year which is only a few days away, don't forget to vote on the right (if you are reading this by email or reader, you need to click through to the blog).
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out? It's popped
What I miss: Sleep
What I am looking forward to: Not feeling so awful
Milestones: First fever. Yay.

Sleep: I haven't been sleeping well this week, I just seem to be too stuffy

Long and cranky day, and we are starting to get overrun with boxes as Santa and other gifts arrive (and need to be wrapped). Hopefully, I'll actually get some under the tree soon. Last time, I had not gained nearly as much at this point, but I feel I still looked just about as big.

How far along? 29 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Up to 29 pounds

28 Week Picture and Poll

Bonus picture week! It's a little scary to me how quickly these come along. Last time, we had just gotten to see Connor for the first time. Maternity clothes? Oh yes
Stretch Marks? Nothing new

25 Week Picture and Poll

It's been a long and busy day gearing up for the holiday season (Thanksgiving is next week!), and we also picked Geoff up from the airport, which made our night a little later than usual, but here we are. Last time we had just finished celebrating Christmas and were getting ready for New Years.

How far along? 25 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Up to 25 pounds, but I forgot that it was Wednesday until after I had a large breakfast, so the number isn't entirely accurate
Maternity clothes? Yes
Stretch Marks? Still nothing new, but I have to be more proactive about using my stretch mark oil and cream because my skin is starting to feel very dry in this weather
Sleep: Still pretty tired, but I slept pretty well this week.
Best moment this week: Peter sitting with me and getting so excited every time the baby moved
Movement: Lots, it seems we have another soccer player here.
Food cravings: Eh, haven't really been in the mood for anything in particular (although I am hungry).
Gender: Poll is up, don't forget to vote on the right (if you are reading this by email or reader, you need to click through to the blog).

Belly Button in or out? Still flat, but it pops after I eat.
What I miss: Geoff.
What I am looking forward to: The weekend, just because.

24 Week Picture and Poll

This is being posted a day late even though it was just about ready to go last night except we had the computer off in case we lost power (and was unable to download the pictures). Sleep: Still pretty tired, doesn't seem like that is going to change.
Best moment this week: Seeing the baby
Movement: Yes, and Peter even got to feel it today.
