It was a big week for Peter, and today was a long day of being inside with Peter because of the weather. I am so ready to go to bed at this point. Last time I had just started to feel movement, so I wasn't too much earlier this time around.
How far along? 18 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 16 pounds, so back on "track", although it seems like I might gain more than last time...
Maternity clothes? Yes, and I got a sale so I'm just waiting for them to arrive
Stretch Marks? Still nothing new
Sleep: I'm trying to sleep, but I'm still unfortunately having a hard time getting comfortable. I'm not a fan of sleeping in one position all night long.
Best moment this week: Peter's a big boy, and had his first day of "school".
Movement: A little more often, but still not very often.
Food cravings: Burgers, ever since I could swallow without pain. Guess I was hungry.
Gender: Still don't know and I still haven't even had any dreams about it yet.
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out? Sill in but definitely flattening out.
What I miss: My fall jacket fitting, I can still get it on, but it's on the tight side.
What I am looking forward to: Seeing baby Brady

Big First Day
Hard to believe that this day is already here, today was Peter's first day of "school". It is a mom cooperative, and I was one of the teachers today, but Peter did very well. He had a lot of fun playing, and he already knew one of the other children. The real test will be next week when I don't stay. He looked like a little boy all dressed up this morning, he really doesn't look like a baby anymore.
Last Faire, First Cone
Over the weekend we headed back to the Renaissance Faire and Peter played a few games. He slayed a dragon.
He fished for duckies.
And he had his first ever ice cream cone. At first, he didn't seem to know what to do with it.
It didn't take him too long to figure out.
And here is a little video of Peter slaying that dragon...

Happy Twenty-Nine Months!
Can't believe that it's already been another month. Then again, he is seeming so very grown up. The potty training lasted only two days (and two successful attempts), and now he's not really interested anymore. We'll see if he changes his mind again this week.
From BabyCenter.com
At twenty-nine and thirty months, most children can:
Brush teeth with help - He does this, although he still has issue with spitting out the toothpaste
Washes and dries own hands - Does this as well, has for a while
Draws a vertical line - He can do this, but it still isn't always pretty
At twenty-nine and thirty months, half the children can:
Draw a circle - Again, he does this but it isn't pretty
Balance on one foot - Does this too
At twenty-nine and thirty months, a few children can:
Put on a t-shirt - I want to say that he can do this, but he does have trouble getting his head through by himself, so he only almost does this
Names one color - He names lots of colors, and it right about 90% of the time
Names one friend - He names quite a few of his friends
There are a few more pictures in our September album on Picasa, which I will keep updating throughout the month.

Shocker of Shocks
Peter told me that he wanted to sit on the potty. He has said this to us before, but he always freaked out and ran away when we finished setting it up for him. Today, he actually sat and was so proud of himself. I didn't hold out much hope of him actually going since I had just changed his (rather full) diaper, but he insisted that he was going to pee. And he did. It was just a little, but still much better than I ever anticipated for his first attempt.
Looks like it's time to get some training pants.
15 Week Picture and Poll

Best moment this week: Peter asking to sit on the potty, and actually going (even if it was just a little)!
Movement: If anything, still just in the middle of the night when I'm trying to fall back asleep.
Food cravings: Hibachi. Luckily I was able to get some this week.
